Joe Barry Hyde passed away Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018, at his home in Fayetteville. He was born on March 22nd, 1963 in Lewisburg and was 54 years old. Joe Barry was a member of the Mayberry Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville and a 1981 graduate of Cornersville High School. Joe Barry loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Joe Barry was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter, and a cattle farmer for many years. He was also a cowboy and his favorite pastime was watching Tennessee sports with his family.
Visitation will be 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1 o’clock Thursday, January 11, 2018, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Betty Worsham Hyde.
He is survived by;
His wife of 35 years Melissa Hopper Hyde of Fayetteville.
Son, Matt Hyde of Fayetteville.
Son, Colton (Kortney) Hyde of Fayetteville.
Son, Dakota (Fiancée Nicole) Hyde of Lewisburg.
Daughter, Heather (Fiancé Bryan Williams) Andrews and of Pulaski.
Daughter, Dawn Perez (Alejandro) Bautista of Spring Hill, TN.
Grandchildren, Izzy and Lane Hyde of Fayetteville. Hannah Jo and Caleb Christmas of Lewisburg, TN. and Isaac Toseland of Lewisburg, TN.
