It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Joe Allen Williams age 72, of Elora. Mr. Williams passed away Monday at Donalson Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Hoem with burial to follow in the Miller Cemetery.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Carlton and Wilma Shap Williams, was the owner of Williams Grocery at Elora, and a member of the Oakley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Teresa Vandiver of Elora, sisters Sandra William of Ardmore, Margrett Miller of Florida, brothers Hugh Williams of Huntsville, Rowe Williams of Lexie Cross Roads, and Kenneth Williams of Plevna, AL. Grandson Jacob Vandiver.
Visitation with the family will after 5:00PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
