Joe Allen Foster was born April 19, 1943 in Hornsby, TN, the son of the late William Paul and Ottie Mae Cox Foster.
Mr. Foster was united in marriage to Barbara Knight on August 17, 1963. He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. He loved driving a school bus for the McNairy County School System, which he drove for many years. Joe loved spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Foster departed this life on August 22, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 4 Months, 3 Days.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Foster of Selmer, TN; two sons, Jeffery A. Foster and wife Jamie of Bethel Springs, TN, Marcus A. Foster of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Madison Lars Foster, Mckenzi Lason Foster; two brothers, Joy Dean Foster and wife Nancy of Selmer, TN, Ike Foster and wife Betty of Hornsby, TN; a brother-in-law, Robert Knight and wife Linda of Pinson, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by a sister, Pansey Eads; two brothers, Arvin Foster and Jerry Lee Foster; and three infant brothers.
