Funeral service for Jody Lee Brookshire, 38, will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Somerville Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Clemons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. His body will lie in state for one hour, at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brookshire died on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1977, in Texas. He was a mechanic for Minor Tire and was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother. He was preceded in death by a brother: Josh Herron.
