Mr. Jody Dale Morton age 49 of Sardis, Alabama, died on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Sardis.
The funeral service will be held at Noon, Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Watkins officiating. A private interment will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday June 4, 2023, from ten o’clock until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Morton was born in Alabama on July 18, 1973, to Dale & Wanda Terrell Morton. He was a manager with Rural King of Albertville.
Mr. Morton is survived by his Wife: Candy Morton of Sardis, Sons & Daughters-in-law: Joey & Kaitlin Morton of Wellington, Paul & Samantha Hogeland, Gary & Morgan Hogeland all of Cullman, Jerry & Holly Hogeland of Albertville, and Sam Ritchey of Hokes Bluff, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Jordan & John Brimer of Alabama, a host of grandchildren, Father: Dale Morton of Sardis. He was preceded in death by his mother: Wanda Dunston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Hogeland, Gary Hogeland, Jerry Hogeland, Brian Devereux, Will Elledge, Jerry Smith, Heath Quinn, and all Albertville Rural King employees.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Sardis City Fire Department.
