Jo Clinton McDonald “Jo” Clinton McDonald, age 37, of Russellville, died on Saturday, May 04, 2024 in an accident.

Jo worked in production at Pilgrim’s Pride Plant.  He loved working on cars, boats, could fix almost anything, and was an awesome cook.  He and Kelly enjoyed spending time together on the weekends road siding and going to thrift stores.  He loved his time with SueAnna, spoiling her and taking her fishing.   Jo was known as the Gentle Giant or the Jolly Green Giant, or JoJo to his nieces & nephews who adored him.    Although his time on earth was not long enough, he leaves behind the love and memories that his family will cherish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark McDonald; grandparents, Allen T. McDonald, Rozelle McDonald; and mother-in-law, Susan Wade; and uncles, Timothy McDonald and Terry Cabler.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 4 years, Kelly McDonald; daughter, SueAnna McDonald; mother, Amanda McDonald; aunts, Sandra Cabler, Tammy McCluskey; God-father, Mark Congleton; in-laws, Glen & Cindy Wade; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Nichols (David), Nola Wells, April Clifton (Quentin); best friends, Haley & Scotty Carson; best friend like a brother, Taj Sibley; and several nieces & nephews.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 08, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 09, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Aaron Fisher speaking at the service.  The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.  The pallbearers will be Taj Sibley, Ryan Cabler, Matthew Cabler, Billy Whitehead, Matthew Allen, and Jimmy Baker.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the first responders, Loretta and Danny Hatton and also the staff of Russellville Hospital ER.
