Funeral for Joanne Blankenship Weatherwax, 66, of Moulton will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Harmony Baptist Church at 4 p.m. with Rev. Barry Cater and Rev. Wendell Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Weatherwax, who died Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital, was born September 19, 1949, to Charles Thomas Blankenship and Johnnie Ruth Hughes Blankenship. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Blankenship.
Survivors include husband, Roger Weatherwax; sons, Jamie Weatherwax and Patrick (Monica) Weatherwax; brothers, Tommy (Vicki) Blankenship and Bobby (Kim) Blankenship; grandchildren, John Clark, Morgan, Samuel, Garrett, Kate, and Reese Weatherwax; and six nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be made to Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund.
