Joanne Anewalt, 94, of Huntsville, passed away on May 14, 2024. Joanne was a loving mother, and she held her Christian faith dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, David Clifford Anewalt. She was a loving mother to her five children: David, Gregg, Joye, Michael, and Steven. She was a devoted grandmother to her 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Joanne and her lifelong soulmate grew up in Dayton, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio.
She often shared stories of swimming out to meet the ferry boats and enjoying family gatherings with her sisters and brother.
Joanne became a nurse in the 1950s and raised five successful children. She cherished family moments and was always the rock for the family until her last days on earth.
She will be remembered as a kind woman who loved Jesus by all those who knew and loved her and will be dearly missed.
