Joann Ward, 76 died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Golden Triangle Regional Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1940 in Middleborough, Massachusetts. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going out to eat, painting, gardening, going to the movies, her pets and her grandchildren.
The family will host a private service at a later date.
She is survived by her children, Gordon Ward (Cathy) of Tupelo, Joe Ward (Jeanie of Linden, NC, Sheri Ribbke (Scott) of Hopkinsville, KY and Tamera Robison of New Albany; one brother, Michael Osborn of Belfast, Maine; three grandchildren, Matthew Ward, Josh Ward and Hannah Robison; two great-grandchildren Eden Ward and Elizabeth Ward.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Gordon E. Ward and one son-in-law Paul Robison.
Memorials may be made to the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society.
