Memorial service for Joann Smith, 66, of Anniston will be at Church on the Rocks, Saturday February 4, 2023 at 2pm. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm. Nick Burns will be officiating.
Ms. Smith is survived by her children Deana (Dustin) Grubbs, Tracey Smith, Matt Smith and Jamie (Daniel) Irwin. Pet Oliver Dean Smith. Her sister Jackie (Cleve) Hughes. Grandchildren Dylan Grubbs, Logan Grubbs, Katelyn (Aidenn) Henderson, Corey Smith, Tyler Wilson, Karleigh Smith, Hannah Grubbs, Peyton Wilson, Kylan ‘Beefy” Smith and Aliyah Smith. Extended family Thomas and Cindy Smith. Several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Willodean Stephenson, father Carl Stephenson, Grandmother Louise Farrow, Brother Billy Stephenson, Sister Glenda Martin and Brother in Law Rick Martin.
Ms. Smith passed away at her home peacefully. She was a beloved member of the Wellborn Community. She worked at Food Outlet for many years where she was well known. You can always count on Joann for a laugh and a smile. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
