Joann Ostendorf, age 90 of Antioch, Tennessee died Monday, March 11, 2024, at Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro with family by her side. She was a native of Charleston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Brogan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Raymond Ostendorf; and all of their children, an infant, Little Paul; and most recently, a son, Scott Ostendorf, and daughters, Bambi Manchester and Fawn Mazza.
Affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Mimi” she is survived by eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special friends and caregivers, Becky Oliver and the extended members of the Oliver family who lovingly cared for Joann as her health failed.
Joann served in many roles, but she relished serving alongside her husband in his ministry. She was a loving wife and mother with strong Christian values, and she enjoyed singing gospel hymns as she would often do.
She will be interred alongside her husband at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery during graveside services at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
