Mrs. JoAnn Mitchell Bolden went to be with the Lord Monday Morning. She was 79. Mrs. Bolden was retired from Chrysler after 29 years; she loved her job and her co-workers. She enjoyed playing computer games and going on beach vacations in Florida. She Loved Tunica. JoAnn Was a christian and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her spunky personality, always speaking her mind, and her love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Bolden was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “Wormy” Bolden; her son, Jesse James Bolden III, and her siblings, Gracie Hill, Melvin Mitchell, Donald Mitchell, Lois Clark, and Louise Barrett.
She is survived by her children, Julie Ann Bolden Whitworth and Richard Lee Bolden; her grandchildren, Mark (Ashley) Bolden, Angel(Matt) Beddingfield, Savannah(Jaxon Bishop) and Wyatt Bolden; her great-grandchildren, Addie Bolden, Hannah Bolden, Ty Bolden, Miller Beddingfield, and Peyton Beddingfield; her brother, Hugh Mitchell, and her Nieces, Darlene and Becky Hill. She is also survived by many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 2 o’clock at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
