Joann Davis Bivens was born June 13, 1953 in Finger, TN the daughter of the late Ed and Maggie Cummings Davis. Mrs. Bivens departed this life on May 12, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 10 Months, 29 Days.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Bivens.
Joann worked as a highway escort in transporting mobile homes. She also had worked at Salant and Salant Manufacturing in Henderson, TN and also as a Truck Driver. She loved her family very much and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Bivens of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Terri Jo Marlow of Selmer, TN, Lista Len Austin of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Johnny Boleyn of Cleveland, TN; three sisters, Edna Elliott of Selmer, TN, Ruby Thacker of Shiloh, TN, Peggy Moss of Stantonville, TN; a brother, Jackie Davis of Crump, TN; 14 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Bivens was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Davis and Ernest Davis.
