Ms. JoAnn Compton, age 70 of Huntsville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Ms. Compton was born on December 13, 1950 in Morgan City, Alabama. JoAnn was beloved mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She has lived a full life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ms. Compton leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life; daughter, Natalie Ogles Moore (Mario Brown); grandchildren, Courtney McDonald (Timothy Smith), Tyler McDonald (Chloe Lones), Mackinzie McDonald, Mikayla McDonald; great grandchildren, Ta’Corian Smith, Za’Kariah Smith, Khamari Smith; brother, Paul Yancey; sister, Patsy Mooney; and last but not least her dog, Boo Boo, whom she loved dearly.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Brindlee Mt Chapel Funeral Home.
Interment will follow visitation at Union Grove Cemetery with Tyler McDonald, Timothy Smith, Mario Brown, John Moore & Jerry McDonald assisting Ms. Compton to her final resting place.
