JOANIE FAYE PICKENS
Was born in Steele, Missouri on November 30, 1952 the daughter of the late Louis Elmer Gean, Sr. and Jacqueline Louise Hardin Gean.
Joanie was owner of the Tumbleweed Family Dance. She also worked as a licensed beautician and bartender at American Legion and Moose Lodge. Joanie was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing guitar, singing and writing songs and spending time with her grandchildren.
Joanie departed this life on December 27, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 61 years and 27 days.
She is survived by her children, Timmy Talley, Robin Beam and Heath Talley, all of Savannah, Tennessee
16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
one brother, Sonny Gean of Savannah, Tennessee and two sisters, Jackie Milford of Savannah, Tennessee and Bubba Brackett of Newton, Illinois
In addition to her parents, Joanie was also preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Blocker and one great grandchild, Bentley White.
