Joanie Elizabeth Burns, 53, of Florence, AL passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Glendale Church of Christ with Joel Caudle officiating. Burial will follow in Bumpus Creek Cemetery, Waterloo, AL. Her visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burns was a native of Savannah , TN. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ and was a loving wife, mother and daughter.
Survivors include husband James David Burns, Jr. of Florence, AL, mother Inez Craig of Savannah, TN, daughters Nickie Killian and husband Stephen of Decatur, AL, Ellen Goodman and husband Greg of Florence, AL also Jamie Holbrook and husband David of Hamilton, AL. There were three grandchildren Abbie, Ethan and Noah.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Scott, Daniel Lard, Kevin Scott, Kenny Neal, David Creasy, Ronald Franks and Jonathan Kephart.
