Joan Keenum, age 52, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2016. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Muscle Shoals Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Shady Grove Methodist Cemetery. Pastor John Pond and Brother Doug Farris will be officiating. The men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
Joanie was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Vivian Keenum, and her brothers, Jerry Ray and Maxwell Keenum.
Survivors include three aunts and a host of friends from church, Hope Haven School, Scope 310, and Sharon House, including special friends Tiffany and Billie Jo.
The family gratefully acknowledges Scope 310 caregivers Jonathan Dunlap, Sheenia Barnett, Tiffany Malone, Brandy Springer, Stephanie Gamer, Courtney Cridert, and all of the Sharon House caregivers. You have been a blessing to Joan and to her family.
Joanie will be missed by her church family where she worshipped her Lord all of her life. She will now be singing with the heavenly choir.
