Joan “JoAnn” Hudgins 92 of Arab died Thursday August 10, 2023 in Diversicare of Arab.
Mrs. Hudgins was born in Morgan County, Alabama February 5, 1931, the daughter of Weaver Brindley and Lillian Pearl Adams Brindley. She was an assembly worker for AMT Corporation in Michigan.
JoAnn is survived by a son: Van Hudgins; daughter: Linda Smith; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Miller, Faye Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends; preceded in death by her husband: Robert C. Hudgins (2001), three sons: Ken Hudgins, Benny Hudgins, Joe Hudgins, her parents: Weaver and Lillian Brindley, and two brothers: Warren and Thad Brindley.
JoAnn’s family chose to honor her wishes with cremation, Gober Funeral Chapel assisted in the completion of those arrangements; at the present time no ceremonial service is scheduled.
