Joan Irvin Phillips, 79, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Petersville Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with Adam Richardson officiating.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, James Grant Phillips; parents, Reuben Jefferson and Catherine Elizabeth Irvin.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Cox (Tony) of Killen; grandchildren, Ethan and Madeline Cox.
Active pallbearers will be Pendy Ellard, Irvin Ellard, Chase England, Johnny Pigg, Bill Cox, and Scott Rickard.
Memorials may be made to the Florence Lauderdale Animal Shelter.
