Mrs. Jo Lee Mayfield, age 86, passed June 26, 2014 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation in Henderson.
She was born in McNairy County daughter of the late Harrison and Molene Webster Robison. She attended school in Finger and was married to Garland Mayfield in 1946 and they operated Mayfield’s Grocery Store. She later worked at the shirt factory and at Gano Cafeteria until her retirement. She was a member of the Estes church of Christ. Mr. Mayfield died in 2003.
Jo Lee is survived by two daughters , Pam Patterson (David), and Penne Wilson ( Steve ) both of Jackson Tennessee; one son Phil Mayfield (Debbie) of Henderson Tennessee; two sisters, Marie Smith of Woodland Texas and Kate Sanford of Troy Tennessee; three brothers Dennie Robison of Henderson Tennessee, Bobby Robison of Finger Tennessee and Ray “Bub” Robison of Fruitland Tennessee. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Chris Patterson, Amy Wade, Jeremy Mayfield, Brian Mayfield, Stephanie Wilson, and Mandy Wilson.
In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by one Sister, Irene Myers and two Brothers, Hayes Robison and Sam Robison.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mayfield will be 11 AM Saturday at the Johnson Chapel of Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson with Billy Smith and Johnny Bullman officiating. Burial will follow in the Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
