Jimmy Wayne White, age 82, wife of Doris Baker White, and a resident of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 6, 1942, in Lynchburg, Tennessee, Jimmy was the son of the late James Herschel White and Rachel Ervin White. Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a devout member of Pulaski First Baptist Church. He found immense joy in fishing, and fondly reminisced about his fishing adventures with Bill Dance in their younger days. Jimmy also had a passion for singing and sports, finding delight in watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play. Above all, he loved his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James (Cathie Mae) White, daughter, Tina Marie White, brother, Bobby (Ann) White, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Herschel Ray White, and sisters, Barbara and Nancy.
The family will celebrate his life with a service at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
