Jimmy W. Sanders, 66, of Huntsville, passed Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. He was employed at Tennessee Valley Authority for over 25 years until his retirement.
Survivors include wife, Ola Goode Sanders; son, Oliver James Sanders; grandson, Kaleb Omari Sanders, all of Huntsville, Alabama; parents, Sam and Laura Sanders, Sheffield, Alabama; four sisters, Jorja Jackson, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Vernilda Beckwith, Larie Washington, Sheffield, Alabama, and Tina Mitchum, Jonesboro, Georgia.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday October 31, at Phillips Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, with Pastor Keith Ellison officiating. Interment will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
Mr. Sanders will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
