Mr. Jimmy Rhodes, age 82, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 in Jackson. He was born August 11, 1941 in Henderson County to the late James and Laura Edith Bell Rhodes. He was a farmer and enjoyed sharing crops with his neighbors. He especially enjoyed cotton farming. Mr. Rhodes also enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, rabbit hunting, and gardening. He was a former member of the National Guard. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Betty Kiddy Rhodes; his son, Luke Britt; his daughter, Candace Sain (Junior); three grandchildren, Justin Sain (Paige), Jonathan Sain (Taylor), and Lydia Sain; and five great grandchildren, Addison, Avery, Adley, Amos, and Haddie Mae. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Rhodes.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, November 24, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11 AM – 1 PM.
