Jimmy Ray Wallace, 70, of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023. He was born July 13, 1953 to the late Rev. Irby Wallace Sr. and Joyce West Wallace. He was retired founder of Jimmy Wallace Construction Company.
Graveside services will be 2:30 Wednesday at Glenwood Cemetery with Dr. Pat McFadden officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Whitehall Church, 34387 US Highway 11 North, Valley Head, AL 35989.
He is survived by his children April Garrett (Carlos), Shane Wallace (Nakisha), and Matthew Wallace; brothers Irby Wallace, Jr., Jerry Wallace, and Billy Wallace; sister Joy Nail; grandchildren Zac Hairston, Kortney Hairston, Haylie Lawson, Isabella McCurdy, Victoria Wallace, Madelyn Wallace, and Luke Wallace; and six great-grandchildren.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
