Jimmy Ray Thomason of Lynnville passed away peacefully at Maury Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was born in Lynnville on July 5, 1941 and was 79 years old.
He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and brothers. He graduated Valedictorian in 1960 from Jones School in Lynnville and worked at Maremont/Gabriel from 1966-2002. He was a member of Stiversville Church of Christ where he served as an elder from April 2009 until December 8, 2020. He enjoyed gardening, working in his flower beds and “piddling” in his shop and politics, loved his country and anything chocolate.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 11th from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, December 12th at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Larry Benderman and Milton Stephens officiating.
Burial will take place in Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville, TN. with full military honors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin and Doris Marie Fry Thomason.
He is survived by;
His wife of 52 years, Mary Elizabeth Archer Thomason of Lynnville
Son, Jeff Thomason of Lewisburg
Son, Mike (Stephanie) Thomason of Culleoka
Son, Scott (Stephanie) Thomason of Pulaski
Daughter, Lori (Steven) Ramsey of Pulaski
11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
Brother, Larry (Shirley) Thomason of Lynnville
Brother, Donnie (Pam) Thomason of Ethridge
Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
