Jimmy Ray Powell 79, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Powell was in the auto body repair business for many years employed by Rod’s Customs and Monrovia Body Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Lora Mae Powell, his daughter Rosemarie Powell, his son Tommy Powell and three brothers, Johnny Edward Powell, Albert Lee Powell and Terry Wayne Powell.
He is survived by his wife Mary E. Powell and a son Timothy Powell and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Ragsdale Cemetery with Reverend Eddie Clardy officiating.
The family would like to express a special thanks to his caregivers Jana Powell and Tony Stolz.
