Jimmy Ray Clark, age 75, of Russellville, passed away March 7, 2023.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Franklin County. He was a truck driver for 45 years and an EMT for 15 years. He was an avid Nascar Fan and loved Talladega, and also an Alabama Football Fan. ROLL TIDE!!!
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Clark; children, Delane Clark (Stacy), Jeff Clark (Charlotte), Vonda Cole (Doug), Vickie Shook (Robert), Rickey Matthews, Chris Matthews; brother, Tommy Clark (Deb); grandchildren, Jolynn Evetts (Blake), Jeremy Clark, Brandon Waldrep, Sebastian Waldrep, Dakotah Shook, Victoria Shook (Jacob Stidham), Zoey Shook, Keshia Matthews, Kristen Matthews , Gracie May Matthews; great-grandchildren, Brees Evetts, Drew Clark.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Joan Clark; parents, Jack and Bea Clark.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm and officiated by Bro. Steve Amos & Bro. Dwight Love. Interment will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Dakotah Shook, Brandon Waldrep, Sebastian Waldrep, Jacob Stidham, Henry Stanford, Jerry Yarbrough, Ryan Haugh, Keith Woodall. Honorary Pallbearers are Elzie Malone, Jerry King, Jeremy Clark and Dewayne Adams.
