Jimmy Ray Amerson, age 63 of Oakman, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Edgil Grove Cemetery. R.L. Williams will officiate.
Mr. Amerson was preceded in death by his Wife-Carolyn Amerson; Father-Billy Ray Amerson; Grandparents-Johnny and Willie Amerson, Ethard and Lestie Dickson.
He is survived by his Former Wife-Donna Faye Amerson; Mother-Glenda Amerson; Daughter-Elizabeth Amerson; Sons-Cody Amerson and Dillon Amerson; Stepson-Lee Chance; Sisters-Sandra Warren and Donna Hastings (John); Bonus Brother-Skint Hill; Granddaughter-Shelby Grace Malone.
Pallbearers will be Dillon Amerson, Skint Hill, John Hastings, Pete Blackwell, Dustin Warren, Billy Christian and Cody Amerson.
