Jimmy Newton Hulsey, 91 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his residence.
He was born February 15, 1932 to Willie and Bessie Thrasher Hulsey. Jimmy was a member of Littleville Methodist Church. He loved going to thrift stores and the Longest Yard Sale. He loved gifting toys to the kiddos and in his younger years he loved to skate and teach kids how to skate. Jimmy also loved playing pool.
Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Brother Mark Burleson will officiate.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Dennis Hulsey; brothers, Donald and Earl Hulsey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Hulsey; and parents William and Bessie Thrasher Hulsey; four sisters, and two brothers.
