Mr. Jimmy Merle Coolidge, age 57, of Cordova passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sipsey. Larry Smith will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Coolidge; mother, Gayle Gutherie; father-in-law, Robert Hurley; and mother-in-law, Betty Hurley.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Theresa Coolidge of Cordova; daughter, Chelsea Coolidge of Sipsey; grandson, Tyler McKinnon; granddaughter, Hazel McKinnon; son-in-law, Scottland McKinnon of Sipsey; sister-in-law and special friend, Misty Chadwick of Corner; brother-in-law and special friend, Kevin Rector of Corner; sister-in-law, Jimmie Sue Hurley (Joey) of Dora; brother, Terry Coolidge of Boldo; sister, Loretta Benefield (Randy) of Boldo; special friend and neighbor, Sam of Sipsey; nieces and nephews, Shae Hurley, Sarah Hurley, Katie Hurley, Kyliee Wright, Christopher Wright, Kristien Cates, Dalton and Taylor; and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives.
