Jimmy “Jim” Clarence Chasteen, age 71 of Monteagle, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his residence. Jim was born on June 2, 1952, in Franklin County, Tennessee, to Wilburn Chasteen and the late JoDell Hannah Chasteen Hill. He had previously been employed as a dispatcher for the City of Winchester and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and most recently had been employed at the University of the South in security. Jim is survived by his children, Jamie Langley, Amy Chasteen and Tommy Chasteen; grandchildren, Malachi Newcomm, SheAnna Langley and Serenity Langley; father, Wilburn Chasteen and brother, Timothy Chasteen. No formal services are planned at this time.
