Jimmy Guice Wofford, age 78.of Boaz passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence.
His Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 623 County Road 2, Boaz, Al. 35957. Burial will follow in adjoining cemetery. Bro. Max Roden, Bro. James O. Wallace, Bro. Chris Watkins and Bro. Justin Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tyler Williams, Casey Vincent, Ricky Mathis, Bransyn Mathis, Garrett Gray, Steve Scott, and George Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Martin, Lyveral Kilpatrick, Ronnie Bone and friends of Oakland Avenue.
Visitation will be on Monday night, from 5 until 8 at Mt. Zion Church.
Mr. Wofford is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia, daughter, Lisa (Steve) Williams, grandchildren, Mandy (Casey) Vincent, Brooke (Ricky) Mathis, Tyler (Courtney) Williams and Macey (Garrett) Gray, great-grandchildren, Harlee and Jesse Vincent, Bransyn Mathis, Bryce and Reece Williams and Briggs Gray, sister, Becky (Charles) Edmondson, special nieces, Carol Edmondson Smith and Cathy Edmondson Tullier and several other nieces.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deb Wofford Parker, parents, D. C. and Morine Wofford
