Jimmy Ewell Johnson, 81, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at The Meadows. He was born July 16, 1934, in Arkansas to Henry Alfred Johnson, Sr., and Lora Mae Vaughn Johnson. He was a welder most of his life and was the owner and operator of Johnson Sheet Metal. He was a Baptist in belief and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved watching the Atlanta Braves and fishing.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 17, at the Keyes Cemetery with Dr. Kevin Clayton officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wadene Johnson, of Fulton; two sons, Kenneth Johnson and Terry Johnson, both of Arkansas; one brother, David Johnson of Whiteville, TN; one sister, Linda Glover of Somerville, TN; six grandchildren, Sarah Davis (Josh), Kenneth Johnson, Jr., Jennifer Wilson, Jacob Johnson, Blake Johnson, and Joshua Johnson; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, nine siblings, and his parents.
