Jimmy Eric Landers 82, Leighton, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Chris Miller officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery, Leighton.
Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert County. He was a retired machinist with Midsouth Extrusion Tool and Die in Muscle Shoals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gail Landers.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Pamela Gail Hamm and Charlotte Kay Seay (Michael); brothers, Welton Landers and Jerry Landers; sisters, Jean Schwartz, Edwina Murrey, and Peggy Simpson; grandchildren, Jason, Randy, Brandon, Brittany, and Cody; and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Welborn, Randy Welborn, Brandon Seay, Cody Seay, Matthew Callahan, and Mike Seay.
