Jimmy E. Campbell – Obituary

JimmyJimmy E. Campbell, 54, of Florence, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends after a battle with cancer. He was a member of GWRRA, employed as a truck driver for Southern Cal Truck Lines. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, and Pappa.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will beWednesday, May 22, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with entombment in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens/Mausoleum. Officiating will be Wayne Wood.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorothy Campbell; brother, Wayne Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 19 years, Sabrina Eaton Campbell of Florence; daughters, Kristin Campbell, Misty Lewis both of Florence, Christy Meadows (Richard) of Tuscumbia; sisters, Diane Campbell, Kaye Kennedy both of Cullman; grandchildren, his pride and joy, Brooklyn, Coby , and Caiden Speegle all of Florence, Isabella and Austin Meadows both of Tuscumbia; mother-in-law, Lois  Eaton of Florence; brother-in-law, Harry Eaton (Sabrina) of Sheffield.
Pallbearers will be Gene Blazer, Bill Gulley, Jimmy Sneed, Ace Eaton, Farris Fredrick, Brian Ogletree, and Ray Stowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Gold Wing Road Riders.
Special thanks to ECM Hospital 1st floor, Amy, Brian, Teresa, Matt, Donna and Sandy, 6th floor nurses and staff, Kim Farris, Dr. Patel, Dr. Hagler, Dr. Daugherty, and the whole staff at Northwest Cancer Center, Dr. Holden and staff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make donations to the American Cancer Society, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
