Funeral for Jimmy Dale “J.D.” Summerford, 46, of Somerville will be Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Pastor Jessie L. Wright Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Summerford, who died Sunday, January 11, 2015, in Lawrence County, was born May 30, 1968, in Morgan County to Terry Roy Summerford and Brenda Ryder. He was a truck driver. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Lashelle Kirby; one son, Justin Summerford; three daughters, Jade Corum, Ashley Summerford and Briana Summerford; his mother, Brenda Ryder; one grandson, Brantley Corum; five brothers, Gary Summerford, Jerry Dale Summerford, John Lee Garrison, Rick Owen and Dustin Carter; and two sisters, Christie Summerford and Elita S. Bailey.
Pallbearers will be John Lee Garrison, Anthony Robinson, Scott Sheffield, Jonathan Bailey, Tyler Tippett, Dustin Carter and Tyler Gatlin.
