Jimmy Dale Dutton 75, of Decatur died October 16, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital Parkway Campus. He was born March 15, 1947 to Marvin and Lou Houser Dutton.
Mr. Dutton retired from Monsanto after 37 years of service as a chemical operator. He also officiated sports in Morgan County for over 38 years, and was an avid gardener, and a U.S. Army veteran. A loving husband, father, and grandfather and friend.
Mr. Dutton was preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.D. Dutton, and sister, Essie Mae Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Dutton, son, Chris Dutton, daughter, Stacy Dutton Hill (Doug), brothers, Artie Dutton and Richard Dutton, sisters, Peggy Roberson and Pearl Stringer, three grandchildren, Gabrielle Hill (Brad), Dustin Hill, and Ryker Dutton.
Memorial Graveside Service will be held later at Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Danville Road.
