Jimmy Dale Bostick, 74, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Russellville, AL and was a logger for many years. Jimmy Dale was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services will be Wednesday, August 23, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Jerry Ginn and Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Bobbie Bostick; son – Bert Bostick (Katie); daughter – Isabella Bostick; step-children – Christie Robinson (Greg) and Jodie Kennedy (Mike); grandchildren – Audrey Anna Smith, Baylee Senter, Gracie Crane, Hayden Gann and Easton Kennedy; great-grandchildren – Elijah Smith and Jeremiah Smith; honorary grandchild – Tera Wood and special dog – Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Bea Bostick and a brother, Jackie Bostick.
Pallbearers will be Mike Stephens, Wesley Miller, Greg Cagle, Tony Turbyfill, Donnie Wood and Louis Bostick. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Liles, Ezra Miller, Brent Robinson, Greg Robinson, Mike Pierce, Ed Manning and Steve Bostick.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
