Jimmy “Chevy” Ford, of Florence, Ala., passed away at the age of 21 on Monday, April 29, 2013.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by services at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Ala. Burial will be at Friendship Freewill Baptist. The speaker is Ethan Frye.
“Chevy” is survived by his loving mother, Donna Mashel Ford, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Rusty Mills (Haley), of Florence, Ala.; “Chevy’s” girlfriend, Nicole Maynor, of Florence, Ala.; uncle, Jimmy Wayne (Slim) Harcrow, of Reform, Ala.; grandparents, Mike and Donna Rager, of Waterloo, Ala., and Barney and Joyce Harcrow, of Reform, Ala.; great-grandmother, Dorothy Harcrow, of Refrom, Ala.; aunts; uncles; cousins; and so many close friends, too many to mention.
“Chevy” was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Fred Ford Sr.; and grandfather, Fred Ford.
Pallbearers will be Cory Stevenson, Bradley Kelly, Case Crowell, Martin Lowery, Chris Harcrow, Hugh Perkins, Richard Harcrow and Rusty Mills.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shad Cunningham, Lil’ Richard Harcrow, Twank Killen and Josh Keeton.
The family expresses special thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbors for all the prayers, gifts and kindness.
