Jimmie White Stegall, 97, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Graceland Nursing Home in Pontotoc. She dedicated 30 years of her life to nursing for the State Board of Health and Pontotoc Health Department, and also worked at Houston Hospital, Pontotoc Hospital, and Sunshine Nursing Home. A devoted member of West Heights Baptist Church for over 70 years, she loved cooking Sunday dinners, reading, fox hunting and camping with her husband, and cherished her nursing career, particularly in the hospital.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Wayne Stegall (Malinda), her daughter, Mary Ann Fleisher, and her grandson, Kevin Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Kenneth Stegall, her parents, Jim and Estelle White, and her son-in-law, Norman Fleisher.
Funeral services are scheduled at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 3 PM, with visitation starting at 1 PM. Bro. David Hamilton will officiate, and burial will take place at West Heights Cemetery.
