Jimmie Travis Hanback – Obituary

jimmieJimmie Travis Hanback, 75, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama passed away February 23, 2013, after an extended illness.

 

Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 6-8 pm at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence.  Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, February 25, 2013, at Highland Park Church of Christ, with Bro. Ben Hayes officiating.  Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Killen, Alabama.

 

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be dearly missed and never forgotten.  He was retired truck driver of 34 years.  He was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ.

 

Mr. Hanback is survived by sons, Dewayne Hanback and wife, Judy of Muscle Shoals, Shane Hanback and wife, Amy of Muscle Shoals; daughters Shelane Behel of Tuscumbia, and Wendy Pace and husband Lance, of Muscle Shoals. Grandchildren, Shannon Behel, Stacy Hanback, Morgan Hanback, Kayla Hanback and great-grandchildren Peyton and Evan Montgomery; two brothers, R.W. Hanback and Bob Hanback (Jean); one sister, Linda Ward (Charles).

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Olene Hanback and daughter Mary Jane Frost.

 

Pallbearers are Robbie Hanback, Casey Glover, Joel Glover, Elvis Phillips, Bill Farris, Sr., and Ted McWilliams.
