Mrs. Jimmie Sue Lawson, age 78, of Quinton passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Shanghi Cemetery. Bro. Hollis Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her father, Johnie Cosper; mother, Geneva Cosper; husband, Gerald Lawson; and brothers, James Paul Cosper, Jonny Mack “Ozzie” Cosper and Jerry Don Cosper.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Garmon, Jr.; brother, Bobby Gene Cosper; sister, Louise Anthony; and special friends, the Lopez family.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to local animal shelters or animal rescue organizations, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Cancer Society or Jimmie Hale Missions.
