Jimmie Sue Beason, age 65 of Mentone, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Beason was born on March 2, 1955 to the late James “Jim” & Birdie Brickley Holland in Chattanooga, TN. She worked for Olan Mills as a Quality Control Manager before moving to Alabama. She was a huge Alabama football and NASCAR fan.
Mrs. Beason is survived by her husband, Andy Beason; daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Shaun Coker; daughter, Kelly Mayhew; sisters, Brenda Crowe, Gwen Lovett, Debbie Kessler, and Donna Hardiman; grandchildren, Aubrey (Brooke) Shields and Connor Coker; great-grandchild, Asher Lycans; unborn great-grandchild, Tegan Shields; several beloved nieces & nephews; and honorary son, Mike Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Jan Jumper and Gail Harris
The family will have a private service at a later date but asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
