Mr. Jimmie Paul Rich Sr. was born May 28, 1959 in Michigan the son of the late Russell Cleo Rich Sr and Virginia Tyler Rich .He was united in marriage to Wanda Elaine Rich on June 25, 1994. Mrs. Rich preceded him in death on May 8, 2019. Mr. Rich worked as a truck driver hauling gas in and around Flint Michigan. He will be lovingly remembered as a man that believed family was everything! He loved to do anything outdoors, but especially loved fishing and riding four wheelers. He will also be remembered for his love of Michigan and Tennessee Sports. When his wife was living, together they attended Zion Baptist Church in Waynesboro. Mr. Rich departed this life on March 10, 2022 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 62 Years, 9 Months and 10 Days.
He is survived by a son, Jimmie Paul Rich Jr. of Michigan; a step-son, Robert Mercier of Paris, TN; a step-daughter Sheree Clayton of Waynesboro, TN; a son of the heart, Michael Reed of Waynesboro, TN; two brothers, Ronald Rich of CA and Russell Rich of Waynesboro, TN; a sister Charlene Kovacs of MI. Mr. Rich is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and numerous loving friends.
In addition to his parents and his loving wife Elaine Rich, Mr. Rich was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Rich.
