Graveside Funeral service for Jimmie Lou Waldrop Pope, 88, will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Steele Cemetery in St. CLair County, with Bro. Jack Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pope died on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living. She was born June 21, 1926, in St Clair County to William Rother Waldrop and Ila Harp Waldrop. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church, an Alabama Native, and a homemaker. She graduated from Ashville High School in 1945. She is survived by lots of loving family and friends. Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Jesse Ray Pope and her parents.
