Jimmie Lee Greenhaw – Obituary

Jimmie Lee Greenhaw age 72, of Athens, passed away Monday August 17, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Demopolis, Alabama to Oakley Greenhaw and Ruby Hill Greenhaw on April 24, 1943.

There will be a graveside service Thursday August 20, 2015 at 11:00AM at Athens City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Joel Carwile will be officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents Oakley and Ruby Greenhaw and wife Katherine Greenhaw.

He is survived by one daughter: Lauraleigh Crownover (Keith) of Tullahoma, Tennessee. One son Lanier Greenhaw (Missy) of Athens, Alabama, one brother Herby Greenhaw (JoEllen). He is survived by grandchildren Katherine Crownover, Elizabeth Crownover, Guy Greenhaw, and Ben Greenhaw. He is also survived by one niece and six nephews.

Mr. Greenhaw was the owner of Kreme-Delite, Dubs Burgers, and Greenhaw Auctioneers. He was number six Alabama Auctioneer licenses . He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Athens and in the choir at First Baptist Church.
