jimmieJimmie Kenneth Morrow, age 89, Russellville, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Morrow proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of the American Legion, a rural letter carrier, and a farmer. He was a deacon at Rockwood Baptist Church. He was deeply committed to his family and his Lord. He will be missed by all who knew him and one friend described him as a “Treasure of a Man”.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Jerry Hester and Bro. Chris Green. The burial will be at Halltown Cemetery in Red Bay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Morrow and Sarah Boyd Morrow; 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Hilma Malone Morrow; sons, Ken Morrow (wife, Pam), Dr. Keith Morrow, Kevin Morrow (wife, Marilyn); grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Morrow, Joshua (Vicki) Morrow, Ashley Morrow Colonna, Tyler (Brooke) Morrow, Chris (Kayla) Guy, Brooke (Cam) Hogg, Jerry Dale (Whitney) Edwards; great-grandchildren, Jacob Morrow, Caleb Morrow, Micah Morrow, Stone Morrow, Elijah Morrow, Caiden Guy, Connar Edwards; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
