Jimmie Jason Haddock, 80, of Florence, passed away November 23, 2023. The visitation will be Wednesday, at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 –1:00 pm. The service will start at 1:00 with David Bryd officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Hill Cemetery
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Mattie Haddock; wife, Marie Haddock; son, Bobby Haddock.
Survivors include his daughter, Sharon White (Kenneth); son, Ricky Haddock (Kathy); grandchildren, Jackie Borden, John Collins (Rachael), April Haddock, Bobby Haddock (Mariah), Elizabeth Haddock; nieces, nephews, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Jimmie’s favorite thing was to talk to people about Jesus and what Jesus could do for them. He loved cutting his grass, and spending time with his family and friends. Jimmie worked many years at Monarch Tile Company and then started Jimmy Haddock’s Painting. Jimmy was a volunteer foster grandparent at Harlan School where he worked for many years. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV with his family pet, “Pinky”.
