Jimmie Dale McDonald, age 63 of Ashridge Community, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. McDonald was born on August 9, 1949 in Jasper to Walker McDonald and Olafae Ward White. He was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, gardening and just being outside.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 10am-12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 12pm. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Vance Hutton will officiate.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jan H. McDonald; stepfather, Charles White; sons, Douglas G. (Melissa) McDonald, Daniel C. (Amanda) McDonald; step-son, Nicholas T. Cleghorn; daughters, Joy (Billy) Menigoz, Elayne (Kurt) Nichols; step-daughter, Janady D. (Lee) Williams; brother, David (Mary) McDonald; sister, Martha (Chuck) Long; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Olafae Ward White; and father, Walker McDonald.
