Jimmie C. Rowe of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born on June 4, 1943 in Tate County Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rowe of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; his son, Bryan Rowe of Gulfport, Mississippi; his sister, Peggy Dean of Florence, Alabama; his brother, William L “Billy” Rowe of Senatobia, Mississippi; and stepdaughters, Christy Polson of North Carolina, Teresa Tucker of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Leigh Pickering of Ashville, North Carolina, and stepson, Will Coghlan of Spring Hope, North Carolina; and eight grandchildren.
He served his country faithfully for 18 years in the United States Air Force as a flight engineer.
Jimmie was an accomplished guitarist and vocalist. He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized there.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 27th from 10-11 a.m. followed by a memorial service from 11-12 p.m. Both will be held at First Southern Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, AL.
